A middle-aged man has reportedly fallen from the recently inaugurated Tamale Interchange in the Northern Regional Capital, according to countryghana.com/
The man may have made an attempt on his life, but he miraculously lived despite suffering grave injuries.
The man, who many believe to be mentally unstable, is shown in a little than a minute-long video taken by countryghana.com/ jumping from a height of the interchange and falling to the ground amid cheers from locals.
However, he survived and was treated after being brought to the Tamale Central Hospital, according to some bystanders who questioned the motive behind the assault.
Police in Tamale verified the event to countryghana.com/ and said they are looking into it. They have not yet obtained the man's statement, though.
