The National Delegate Conference, which started on July 15 and is scheduled to go through July 17, 2022.
Delegates of the party congregated at the voting site, the Accra Sports Stadium, waiting to cast their votes for the candidates they believe will best represent the party’s interests in the effort to “Break the Eight” in the 2024 presidential election.
For the ten national executive seats of the NPP, a total of 46 persons are running.
The party’s executive posts include National Chairperson, National Vice Chairperson, General Secretary, National Organiser, Women’s Organiser, Youth Organiser, and National Nasara Coordinator.
Approximately 6,000 delegates, including party members from some of Ghana’s 16 regions and some NPP members from the diaspora, will cast ballots in the election.
