In a Facebook post on July 20, KOD revealed that certain individuals had distanced themselves from him due to his political stance, despite his respect for their differing opinions. The radio personality, who previously backed the New Patriotic Party (NPP), announced his support for the NDC in September 2023, citing unfulfilled promises by the government. In response to criticism, KOD emphasized his right to independent political beliefs and urged those who disapproved to reconsider their definition of friendship.
