A beloved Tiktok star, Siyah, known as S1yah on the platform with over 6 million lifetime likes and 150,000 followers, was tragically killed in a shooting outside the Los Cerritos mall on Saturday, January 18th.
Reports confirm that Siyah was found shot inside a vehicle in the mall’s parking lot around 7:30 p.m. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene after calls of a shooting, discovering Siyah unconscious and severely wounded. Despite immediate medical attention, she succumbed to her injuries.
Investigations suggest the incident might have been an accidental shooting related to gang activity. Siyah was in the company of others when gunfire erupted, but she was the sole victim struck by bullets, according to Cerritos Community News. The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department (LASD) arrested those inside the vehicle from which the shots were allegedly fired, and no further suspects are currently being sought. The area was secured for further investigation.
