A train heading to Takoradi Harbour from Kojokrom on Thursday March 10 has hospitalized 40 individuals after developing a fault
In an interview with Soft power FM,an Assembly member of New Takoradi Mr Ofori explained that the train driver lost control after realizing the train has developed a fault to which thick smoke started coming out of the engine side.
The driver forcefully jumped out of the train for his own safety.

He immediately hinted the passengers in the train to do same but these could not escape immediately because the locked doors were not responding .
They managed to escaped through the emergency windows and in the course of it some got injured.
The New Takoradi Health Centre has confirmed that 8 Bompeh Senior High Students are in critical conditions and still on admission
40 individuals including students and workers were admitted and some have been treated and discharged.
