Prominent Ghanaian media personality Ohemaa Woyeje has issued a grave caution to men across the country, urging them to exercise extreme vigilance regarding their associations and movements.
Her warning comes in the wake of the gruesome kidnapping and murder of Terry Yaw Kyere, a popular mobile phone dealer around Accra’s Circle area widely known as Dinero or Terry.
A Tragic Encounter and Stark Warning
Dinero went missing after leaving his residence in Kokomlemle, Accra. According to police investigations, he was allegedly lured to a residence in Teshie Agbleza. Tragically, the encounter turned fatal after a confrontation ensued. Police disclosures revealed that the victim was attacked, sustained severe injuries, and his body was subsequently transported and set ablaze near the motorway before being recovered.
Reacting to the heart-wrenching details surrounding the tragedy, Ohemaa Woyeje took to social media to express her shock at human cruelty while cautioning men against blind trust in private rendezvous and unverified private meet-ups.
“Many guys have died from visiting women’s houses! There are many Delilas in town,” Ohemaa Woyeje wrote. “Sometimes what looks like a simple visit, a secret affair, or a ‘harmless hookup’ can put you in a dangerous situation.”

The Ghana Police Service has since made major headway in the case, arresting multiple suspects—including a woman and a prime suspect—who are currently assisting with ongoing investigations into the murder and the destruction of evidence.
