Kim Kardashian is known for her love of expensive jewellery, but she wasn’t impressed after a fan sent her a diamond ring.
According to TMZ, the reality star has obtained a restraining order against Jomonie Victor Zigler after he tried to contact her several times.
Jomonie reportedly first tried to contact Kim in December by turning up at her home, but was stopped by security. He also took to social media, where he made a series of explicit posts about the reality star, even referring to her as his “wife”.
Jomonie also attempted to send Kim a number of gifts, including a diamond ring and keys to his hotel room.
These incidents led to a judge agreeing to sign a temporary restraining order. Jomonie is due to appear in court next month where the future of the restraining order will be decided.
Kardashian claimed the alleged stalker’s antics have caused her to suffer from extreme emotional distress.
Jomonie reportedly has a criminal history involving firearms and threats, which played a part in the judge’s decision.
This isn’t the first time Kim has been granted a restraining order against a stalker. In 2021, she faced a similar incident when Charles Peter Zelenoff tried to approach her and even tried to give her a diamond ring like Jomonie. After Charles allegedly stalked her for months, Kim was granted a permanent restraining order.
Kim may have turned down Jomonie’s diamond ring, but she recently added a new piece to her jewellery collection – a cross pendant once worn by Princess Diana.
The SKIMS founder bought the unique piece at a Sotheby’s auction for a cool $197,000. It features 5.25 carats of round-cut diamonds.
