I Won’t Go Hungry Under Mahama’s Administration—Koku Anyidoho

Date:

Samuel Koku Anyidoho, former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has publicly declared that he will not be in want under the potential future administration of John Dramani Mahama. Anyidoho expressed his conviction that divine providence would ensure his well-being as long as he continues to honor the legacy of the late President Prof. John Evans Atta Mills.

In a tweet, Anyidoho firmly stated his disinterest in any governmental appointment under Mahama, saying, “Once again: I don’t want any appointment in John Mahama’s government. God will take care of me for as long as I keep the legacy of President Atta-Mills alive.”

He further elaborated on his past experiences during Mahama’s previous term, where despite his position as Deputy General Secretary, he was not appointed to any board, unlike some of his colleagues. “As Deputy General Secretary while JM was President; I never served on any Board when my junior colleagues and senior colleagues served on Boards,” he tweeted, underscoring that he did not suffer financially or otherwise from this exclusion.
