Swift Action by the Ghana National Fire Service Averts Disaster

In a dramatic yet successful emergency operation, the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) successfully removed a large and aggressive swarm of bees from a metal container at Suhum-Okorase in the Eastern Region. The intervention came after local residents raised the alarm, fearing for the safety of children and passersby who frequent the busy area.

Suhum-Okorase, a vibrant community, was brought to a brief standstill as specialized fire personnel deployed protective gear and specialized equipment to safely clear the insects without causing harm to the local ecosystem or human life.
