Breaking the 8: PRESEC Legon secures 8th victory as NSMQ champions : The 2023 National Science and Maths Quiz tournament was won by Presbyterian Boys Secondary School (PRESEC Legon).
On Monday, October 30, 2023, the record winners defeated Opoku Ware Senior High School and Achimota Secondary School to win the championship for the eighth time in the competition’s existence.
With 40 total points after five exciting rounds of intellectual competition, PRESEC won.
Opoku Ware scored 23 points, trailing behind Achimota’s 28.
PRESEC had won the tournament in 1995, 2003, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2020, and 2022 in addition to this year.
