Just like 1983, Ghana had her horrific incident on the 20th of January. Such incident occurs but this one was the most terrific one I have ever seen. On the 20th day of January, a tanker carrying an explosive chemicals had an accident on the Bogoso to Kumasi highway. This accident led to the explosion of the chemical leaving a whole town dead. Many people died due to this explosion and many too were injured severely. The explosion also divided the highway into two with a pit between it.
The vice president visited the seen the next day and promised to rebuild the community and also support the victims who survived the incident. He also visited those at the hospital and encouraged them not to give up on life. Just a day after the vice president visited the area, constructors has moved to the site and have started the reconstruction of the highway.
