Born in Argentina and later raised in London, Hussey’s portrayal of Juliet catapulted her to international stardom. At just 15 years old, she captured the hearts of audiences worldwide, earning a Golden Globe for Best New Actress. The film itself was a significant success, securing four Academy Award nominations, and Hussey’s Juliet became an iconic depiction of the character in film history.

Olivia Hussey leaves behind her husband of 35 years, David Glen Eisley, their children Alex, Max, and India, as well as her grandson, Greyson. Her family, while mourning her departure, is commemorating the significant influence she had on both cinema and the people she touched with her work and her spirit.
