Ghana Launches Phase Three of Appiatse Reconstruction Project

The government of Ghana has officially commenced the third phase of the Appiatse reconstruction project, marking a critical milestone in the ongoing efforts to restore livelihoods in the Western Region community following the tragic 2022 explosion.

Speaking at the launch event, government officials and local leaders emphasized the administration’s unwavering commitment to ensuring that displaced residents are fully resettled into modern, sustainable, and eco-friendly housing units.

The latest phase of the Appiatse reconstruction focuses heavily on scaling up infrastructural works, including the completion of residential buildings, commercial centers, and vital public utility networks.
