In a tragic incident, 23-year-old Alfred, a Ghanaian man living in Saskatoon, Canada, was stabbed to death by a co-worker on Monday night at approximately 7 p.m., according to a post on X by EDHUB.

  • Victim: Alfred, originally from Kumasi-Afrancho, Ghana, had moved to Canada in September 2024.
  • Suspect: A 53-year-old man who was both a friend and co-worker of Alfred. This individual typically provided Alfred with transportation to work.

The attack occurred during a work break where, without provocation, the suspect reportedly stabbed Alfred 17 times. An eyewitness, Maame Pokuah, a Ghanaian resident in Toronto, narrated the ordeal, highlighting the unexpected nature of the violence.
