West Ham Fan Travels to Ghana to Watch Mohammed Kudus

A West Ham United fan traveled all the way from the UK to Kumasi, Ghana, to watch Mohammed Kudus in action for the Black Stars in their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Central African Republic.

The fan, who asked to be identified only as Ian, said he had been a West Ham fan for many years and was excited to see Kudus, who joined the club from Ajax Amsterdam in August.

“I’m a big fan of Mohammed Kudus,” Ian said. “I think he’s a great player and I wanted to see him play in person.”

Ian arrived in Kumasi on the day of the match and was able to get a ticket to the game. He said he was impressed by Kudus’ performance, which included scoring a goal in Ghana’s 2-1 win.

“He’s a very talented player,” Ian said. “He’s got a lot of potential and I think he’s going to be a great player for West Ham.”
