Kumawood actor Joseph Osei, widely known as Wayoosi, recently revealed why he left the New Patriotic Party (NPP). His departure was attributed to the Minister of Energy, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, also known as NAPO. According to Wayoosi, during NAPO’s campaign for the Member of Parliament (MP) seat in the Manhyia South constituency, he actively supported the minister by reaching out to delegates and securing votes. However, after NAPO’s successful election, their interactions dwindled to brief conversations, leaving Wayoosi feeling disregarded. As a result, he lost interest in the NPP and has since been supporting the National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama. Watch the video below for more details.
