Teachers Occupying government bungalows to pay Rent -GES

A press release signed by the Western Regional Director of Education Mrs Felicia Agyeiba Okai to all Metro/Municipal/Districts Directors and all senior High school states that all teachers occupying government bungalows should be ready to be deducted 10% of their basic salary.

In the press release,It gave reference to what the Ministry of Finance said in 15th May 2006 Circular No 133385/05/06 NTR CAGD which requires that occupant of government bungalows are expected to pay 10 percent of their basic salary as rent.

She therefore entreated that arrears should be paid to avoid audit issues.
