The National Sports Authority (NSA) has stated that neither Stonebwoy nor Shatta Wale has signed contracts to use the Accra Sports Stadium for their upcoming concerts.
This comes after there was a lot of confusion and speculation about whether the two artists would be able to use the stadium, given their history of rivalry and violence.
In a statement, the NSA said that it had not yet signed any contracts with either artist, and that it was still in the process of reviewing their applications.
“We are still in the process of reviewing the applications from both artists,” the statement said. “We will make a decision on whether or not to allow them to use the stadium once we have completed our review.”
The NSA also said that it was committed to ensuring that the Accra Sports Stadium was used in a safe and responsible manner.
“We are committed to ensuring that the Accra Sports Stadium is used in a safe and responsible manner,” the statement said. “We will not allow any event to be held at the stadium that could put the safety of spectators at risk.”
The NSA’s statement comes after there was a lot of public outcry over the possibility of Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale using the Accra Sports Stadium for their upcoming concerts.
It remains to be seen whether Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale will be able to use the Accra Sports Stadium for their upcoming concerts. However, the NSA’s statement suggests that the two artists are not out of the woods yet.
