Ghanaian dancehall icon Shatta Wale has paid a surprise visit to the offices of Charterhouse Productions, days after the successful staging of ShattaFest 2025 at Independence Square in Accra.
The visit, which took place on October 24, 2025, was led by Shatta Wale and his management team, including his public relations officer Sammy Flex and award-winning rapper Medikal, who also performed at the event. The team was warmly received by Charterhouse CEO Theresa Ayoade and other top executives of the renowned event production company.
According to Sammy Flex, the visit was a deliberate gesture of appreciation to Charterhouse for their instrumental role in the planning and execution of ShattaFest 2025. “This was not just a thank-you visit,” he said. “It was a step toward building a stronger working relationship with Charterhouse and exploring future collaborations.”
Theresa Ayoade commended Shatta Wale and his team for the professionalism they exhibited throughout the planning and post-event engagements. She also expressed optimism about future partnerships that could further elevate Ghana’s entertainment industry.
ShattaFest 2025, held on October 18, drew an estimated crowd of over 100,000 fans, making it one of the largest open-air music events in Ghana’s recent history. The concert featured a star-studded lineup and was widely praised for its organization and energy.
The visit to Charterhouse also marked a symbolic moment of reconciliation, considering the previously strained relationship between Shatta Wale and the event organizers. In a social media post shared shortly after the visit, Shatta Wale called for unity in the music industry and urged fans and stakeholders to focus on collaboration rather than rivalry.
With plans already underway to make ShattaFest an annual event, the meeting between Shatta Wale and Charterhouse signals a new chapter of cooperation and mutual respect in Ghana’s entertainment landscape.
