Pastor Elvis Agyemang, the organizer of Alpha Hour, has recently garnered praise for the prayer revival movement that has swept the nation as well as some outspoken condemnation of ALPHA HOUR.
Pastor Agyemang Elvis, the founder of Grace and Mountain Ministry, used the live broadcast of Alpha Hour Episode 156 on August 8 to counsel his supporters, known as Alpharians, on recent attacks on the prayer revival ALPHA HOUR.
Listen to me, Pastor Elvis says in the video. Be a man of heart and strength. Satan is unhappy, after all. However, God is on our side, therefore neither we nor they can stop them from writing whatever they want or from disparaging us.
All that is required of us is that we continue to pray. It is not about them (the critics), it is about our futures.”
Pastor Elvis continued by elaborating on the influence Alpha Hour is having on the country.
He stated: “What we are doing has some meaning. The nation’s spiritual foundation is being changed. They desired believers to rest. From now until Jesus returns, we shall change the systems and control the circumstances. Numerous things are happening, but why are we (ALPHA HOUR) the target?
Pastor Agyemang Elvis is without a doubt the most watched live streamer in Ghana right now, attracting over 53,000 concurrent Facebook users and around 16,000 concurrent live views on Youtube.
However, some critics refuse to accept the vast numbers that assemble online to pray during Alpha Hour.
In his concluding remarks, Pastor Elvis addressed this issue, asking, “Don’t you think there are many technical experts who would have produced proof against us if we were falsifying numbers?” That free time is not mine. The time for manipulation is not on our side. Don’t get sidetracked, he said, and let’s concentrate on our prayers.
