The New Patriotic Party (NPP) leadership has received praise from President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for their skill in managing all the internal elections.
He said the NPP has shown organizational prowess and capacity unlike any other party in Ghana.
“The final lap in electing party officials, we began with the polling station executive, 38+ polling stations, 5-member executives, we elected 6,206 electoral area coordinators, we have elected 4,658 constituency executives, and 160 regional elections, all levels of our party have been involved in these internal elections, and today we are crowning it with the national,” he said on Saturday, July 16 at the party’s delegates conference at the Accra Sports Stadium.
“No political party in Ghana has displayed the organizational skills and capacity that we in the NPP have done and God bless the New Patriotic Party.”
Additionally, Mr. Akufo-Addo asked New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates to cast their votes for candidates who are qualified for the job.
In the general elections of 2024, he declared, the NPP is committed to ending the current eight-year electoral cycle.
On Saturday, July 16, Mr. Akufo-Addo remarked, “Breaking the 8, we shall in 2024,” at the delegates’ conference held at the Accra Sports Stadium.
In the exercise to choose new executives, more than 6000 delegates are participating in art.
