Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram Sam George says the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is now a vindictive political party.
According to him, he has been critical of the Nana Addo Dankwa AKufo-Addo government and so the President and all other appointees have failed to help him undertake major infrastructural projects in his constituency.
“When It comes to major infrastructural projects I can’t do it because I have to lobby the government. I’ve been one of the biggest critics of President Akufo-Addo and it comes at a cost. The NPP is a vindictive political party so whatever they have to do for the people of Ningo-Prampram, they will not do it even though the President’s wife is from Ningo Prampram.”
Regardless of the NPP’s vindictiveness towards his constituency, Sam George indicated that he has been able to undertake several projects including renovating existing schools and providing access to water for some towns in his constituency.
He acknowledged that he cannot do all but believes that if he had the support of government, the people of Ningo Prampram would have enjoyed goodies of good governance.
