In a shocking revelation, Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has exposed documents allegedly showing the sale of state lands to high-ranking officials( NPP Bigwigs, Govt) Appointees Accused of Buying State Lands from Akufo-Addo, the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government and the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP). Ablakwa claims that the documents, which he has shared on social media, reveal a widespread practice of state capture, with top officials and party members purchasing prime state lands from President Akufo-Addo himself. The list of alleged buyers includes: – Kate Gyamfua, NPP Women’s Organizer – Ibrahim Mohammed Awal, former Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture – Dr. Ernest Yedu Addison, Governor of the Bank of Ghana – Elsie Addo Awadzi, Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana – Maxwell Opoku-Afari, Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana – Joseph Boahen Aidoo, CEO of COCOBOD – Dr. Janet Ampadu Fofie, Chairperson of the Presidential Emoluments Committee – Kwabena Mantey Jectey Nyarko, Board Member of Ghana Airport Company Limited – Anselm Ransford Adzete Sowah, Ghana’s High Commissioner to Canada – Anna Asare Oduro, former NPP Women’s Organizer, Holland Chapter Ablakwa has vowed to continue exposing more names and details of the alleged land grab, calling for accountability and transparency from the government. He also expressed support for a Private Member’s Bill seeking to ban politicians and top officials from buying state assets.
