Mahama Urges NDC Supporters to Pray Amid Economic Hardship

President-elect John Dramani Mahama has called upon supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to intensify their prayers, highlighting the economic challenges that lie ahead for his administration. Speaking to party faithful, Mahama emphasized the need for divine wisdom and strength to navigate the country through its current difficulties.

He stated, “This is the time we need to pray harder than we did during the campaign for God to grant us the strength and wisdom to implement measures that will make Ghana a better place to live. All I will say is that it is finished; God has already done it.”

Mahama acknowledged the potential pitfalls left by the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, describing them as a “trap” designed to hinder his incoming administration. However, he remains confident in overcoming these challenges with divine guidance, saying, “This is because the NPP government has set a trap for us. But we shall not be caught in that trap; we will escape unscathed. The Almighty God, who granted us electoral victory, will see us through the difficulties ahead until we achieve success.”
