President Nana Akufo-Addo has urged Kumawu residents to cast a huge vote for “handsome” NPP parliamentary candidate Ernest Yaw Anim on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.
He asserts that the party’s nominee is the ideal successor to the late MP Philip Basoah, who passed away in March 2023 and was buried this past weekend.
The president urged Kumawu residents to vote to keep the NPP in power during a massive rally there.
“Philip Basoah’s replacement is an attractive, modest, and compassionate man who is prepared to assist you. In this constituency, he has brought the party’s members together. Ernest Yaw Anim is deserving of the position. Choose the most attractive candidate; he is listed as the top choice on the ballot; place your thumb where you see him; we don’t want any dishonest candidates.
Leading figures from the ruling NPP and the major opposition NDC have descended to Kumawu in an effort to guarantee the victory of their respective candidates.
Additionally, two independent contestants have sworn to pull a surprise.
