Kojo Oppong Nkrumah referred to attorney Martin Kpebu’s comment accusing President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of leading illegal and dishonest acts in his administration as humiliating and unprofessional.

Although the nation protects the freedoms of expression and association, he claimed that the accusation lacked any basis in truth and that Ghanaians should exercise restraint in their words.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is charged by attorney Martin Kpebu of leading illegal and corrupt actions at the White House and while serving as president.

On Saturday, July 23, 2022, the private attorney claimed that the president was a “abysmal failure” in the battle against corruption during an interview with Joynews’ Newsfile show.

On the heels of the most recent report from the UN Office on Drugs and Crime, Martin Kpebu spoke (UNODC).

The first gentleman of the land is adamant about battling corruption under his watch, in the opinion of attorney Kpebu, which explains why the statistics keep getting worse.

“Akufo-Addo is a member of the Jubilee House crime syndicate. The president is undoubtedly involved. Without his participation, this corruption would not exist.

“Manasseh sprayed Zoomlion and did that thing. What was the purpose of the spraying while schools were shuttered during the Corona period and students were scheduled to return in three months?

“You follow Manasseh’s story, it lands on the president’s desk. Other stories land on their desks. The president; we have to say with all our energy, is part of that criminal syndicate and that we will not take this from you, you have to just step down,” he said.

However, the communications minister responded by calling Martin Kpebu’s remark “shameful and unprofessional.”

“It is dishonorable and wholly unprofessional to hear lawyer Kpebu accuse the President of the Republic of belonging to a criminal syndicate without any supporting evidence.”

“Even more worrying is the fact that a media house which is to be respected airs such content and happily reproduces it on websites and social media in a bid to achieve clicks and revenues on the backdrop of unfounded insults at its national leaders. We all uphold freedom of speech and association, but let’s be responsible in how we do this. ” He tweeted
