Ghanaian music sensation Kofi Kinaata continues to enjoy the rewards of a prestigious shout-out from HRM Asantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu II, the King of the Ashanti Kingdom. In a recent interview with NY DJ on BTM Afrika, Kinaata, who performed at Sarkodie’s Rapperholic, The Homecoming Edition at Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, shared how the royal endorsement has transformed his career.
The Asantehene’s praise for Kinaata’s song “Susuka” during a Ghana Bar Association event in September 2024, where he highlighted its themes of appreciation and contentment, has led to a surge in opportunities. “Kumasi has become a hotspot for me since the endorsement. It opened doors to corporate shows, and my streaming and social media numbers have skyrocketed,” Kinaata revealed.
