Isaac Dogboe Loses to Nick Ball in Featherweight Title Eliminator

Isaac Dogboe Loses to Nick Ball :Dogboe of Ghana suffered a setback in his quest to reclaim a world title, losing to British boxer Nick Ball in a unanimous decision on Saturday night in Manchester, England.

Ball, who remained unbeaten, retained his WBC silver featherweight title and earned a shot at the full WBC crown with a dominant performance.

The scores were 118-109, 119-108, and 116-111, all in favor of Ball.

Dogboe, a former WBO junior featherweight champion, started the fight strong but was gradually broken down by Ball’s constant pressure and heavy body punches.

Dogboe showed heart and toughness throughout the fight, but he was simply outmatched by the younger and stronger Ball.

“I’m absolutely over the moon,” Ball said after the fight. “I knew it was going to be a tough fight, but I trained hard and I knew I had it in me to win.”

“I’m just disappointed,” Dogboe said. “I gave it my all, but it wasn’t enough. I’ll be back stronger.”

The loss is a major setback for Dogboe, who was hoping to use this fight as a springboard to another world title run.

However, he still has time to turn things around and he is a talented fighter with a lot of heart.

Ball, on the other hand, is now in line for a shot at the WBC featherweight title, which is currently held by Rey Vargas.

Vargas is a formidable opponent, but Ball has proven that he is a force to be reckoned with in the featherweight division.
