A distressing video has emerged from Barcelona, Spain, where Florence Sarpomaa, a Ghanaian woman, is seen in tears, appealing for help to return to her homeland. Sarpomaa, who was sent to Spain by her uncle in hopes of finding better opportunities, has instead found herself in a dire situation.
According to Sarpomaa, the promise of “greener pastures” turned sour when her uncle began to mistreat her. After voicing her complaints, she was evicted from his home, leaving her without shelter or a job in a country where she doesn’t speak the language. “She said she’s now stranded with no proper place to stay and with no job as well as she’s yet to learn Spanish,” she explained through tears.
In her emotional plea, Sarpomaa is asking for financial assistance from fellow Ghanaians to secure a flight back to Ghana, where she hopes to resume her life. “Sarpomaa, in tears, begged Ghanaians to help her to fund a plane ticket so she can return home and continue her hustling in Ghana,” she said, highlighting her desperate situation.
