Dani Carvajal has spoken about his love for Real Madrid, saying that leaving the club would be one of the most difficult things he could ever do.
The 31-year-old right-back has been at Real Madrid since 2013, and has won four Champions League titles, three La Liga titles, and two Copa del Rey titles with the club.
In an interview with Movistar Futbol, Carvajal said: “I love Real Madrid. I think when it’s time to leave, it must be one of the most difficult things ever.
“It’s not just what Madrid is, it’s the dimension that it has. Going to stadiums it’s full, in hotel hundreds of fans receive us… It’s something very special.”
Carvajal has been a regular in the Real Madrid starting lineup for the past few seasons, but he has been plagued by injuries in recent years. He has made just 14 appearances in La Liga this season.
Despite his injuries, Carvajal is still committed to Real Madrid and wants to win more trophies with the club.
“I want to stay here for many years,” he said. “I want to win more Champions Leagues, more La Liga titles, more Copa del Rey titles. I want to make history here.”
