The Annual Report on the Staffing Positions of the Office of the President for 2022 has been submitted by the government in compliance with the Presidential Office Act 1993 (Act 463).

Two Ministers of State and 44 senior presidential staff members reportedly worked in the presidency between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2022, according to a statement released on March 30, 2023 by the Jubilee House’s communication department.

It further stated that in 2022, a total of 315 additional appointees worked for the President’s Office, increasing the total number of presidential appointees to 361.

“There were two (2) Ministers of State and forty-four (44) Senior Presidential Staffers on duty throughout the reporting period. Three hundred and fifteen additional political appointees worked for the President’s office (315). This takes the total number of political appointees to 361 (361).

“It’s crucial to remember that only 163 of the 361 political appointees at the President’s Office really work at the Jubilee House. The rest of the group works in the offices to which they are tasked, according to the statement.

It was also stated that 687 additional persons worked at the Jubilee House in 2022, however they were all government employees working for their parent organizations.
