An eyewitness said they stood closer to him and talked for up to 20 minutes but he couldn’t wake up,and they saw a torch light and a pair of pliers in his pocket.

An eyewitness said they stood closer to him and talked for up to 20 minutes but he couldn’t wake up,and they saw a torch light and a pair of pliers in his pocket.
so they left him at the spot and reported to the Busa station police officers, the officers assured them that they would go and check on him.
Upper West Regional Police Command has issued a statement concerning crime and safety measures to take in order to address it.

Firstly, The Upper West Regional Police Command is hereby informing the general public that, miscreants adopt several means or Modus Operandi to gain.
Secondly, The Command is therefore entreating the Public to be Security Conscious and also to be abeeast with certain security protocols in order not to fall Victim.
Thirdly, The Command urges Mobile Money vendors to be alert and vigilant on their areas of operation hence, they should close their operations before 7:30pm
Forthly, It has also been observed that, the general public does not rewort to the availability of the Pulice motor patrols when moving outskirt of the Municipality and ends up being robbed. Drivers are therefore reminded of the Free Escort Regime by the Regional Police Command to avert the operations of miscreants.
To add to that, the Command is also developing a comprehensive strategy to minimize the snatching of bags and pilfering of motorbikes in the Region, most especially the Wa Municipality.
Lastly, Users of motorbikes should desist moving at wee hours to avoid any sort of attack by the miscreants.
