The Ghana police is indeed not joking at all and is extremely doing well with the rule of Law that “Nobody is Above the Law” with great handling of every case.
The Western Regional Police Command,today 3rd February,2022 has arrested the Hon MCE of Sekondi Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly by the name Mr Abdul -Mumin Issah.
According to the Police in a Press Release,The MCE of STMA(Sekondi Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly) alledgely verbally assaulted a police officer who was in his lawful duty.
The Ghana police in accordance with the law has charged Mr Issah on three count of Assault of a police Officer,offensive conduct conducive to breaches of Peace and Disturbing the Peace in a public place contrary to sections 205,207 and 298 respectively of the criminal and other offences Act of the 1960,Act 29.Another charge for Dangerous Driving contrary to the Section 1 of Act 683 of 2004 as amended by Act 761 of 2008.
The MCE is Alledged to have carelessly and dangerously driven his Toyota Land Crusiser at a police snap check point at Kwesimintsim Cemetery on 2nd February 2022.
