The Public Universities across Ghana are yet to start serious Academic Work for the 2021/2022 Academic year because of the strike action by the University Teachers Association of Ghana(UTAG).
A notice issued on the official website of the University of Ghana signed by the Registrar,Mrs Emelia Agyei-Mensah state categorically that after a Business and Executive Committee meeting the outcome is that ,the Revised calender for the Academic Work for the 2021/2022 Academic year will commence from Monday 28th February,2022 to which its’ approved calender will soon be circulated.
She advise the General students body,the faculty and staff to take note that the ongoing ratification process of the University Teachers Association of Ghana(UTAG) branches will finalize the suspension of the strike as annoyed by their National Executive Committee.
