Ben Shelton Kids – American professional tennis player, Ben Shelton was born on 9 October 2002 in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States of America.
Shelton is born to former professional tennis player and Florida Gators men’s tennis coach Brian Shelton and Lisa Witschen Shelton. He shares his parents with his younger sister, Emma Shelton.
As a child, Shelton preferred to play American football rather than tennis. Despite the fact that both of his parents had ties to tennis, they didn’t push him to take up the game.
Shelton’s father, Bryan, a college tennis coach, began coaching him when he was 12 and he began playing tennis frequently. At the age of 16, Shelton thought about competing in ITF junior events abroad, but his father discouraged him.
Ultimately, Shelton claims that the fact that he was not always on the road and had a routine helped his tennis development because his father advised him not to play in ITF junior tournaments abroad.
