Meek Mill Removes Promotion of Music Video Featuring Jubilee House Footage

American rapper Meek Mill has deleted a promotional video he posted on Instagram and Twitter after facing backlash for filming parts of it at the Jubilee House, Ghana’s presidential palace.

The video, which shows Meek Mill rapping in various areas of the palace, including the main conference hall and a sitting area, sparked outrage on social media for what some called the “near desecration” of the presidency and for potentially compromising security.

Influencers on the platform also faced criticism for allowing the sensitive areas to be used for a music video. Despite the deletion, the Twitter link to the video still leads to a blank page.

There were also some who defended Meek Mill’s actions, arguing that it was not a big deal.
