A man who stole from a hotel that he reserved to spend time with his girlfriend was caught in the twin city of Sekondi-Takoradi in the Western Region.
He is suspected of having committed similar crimes at other hotels in the area by making bookings for the night and then turning up at the hotel at midnight to steal from the safe or drawers after the front desk clerk has gone home for the evening.
Although the alleged thief’s identity and age are not yet revealed, it is assumed that he is in his early 30s.
His most recent theft, though, happened last Saturday, but he was unlucky since the hotel’s CCTV system caught him in the process of stealing.
