Alhaji Aliu Mahama, a member of parliament (MP) for the Yendi Constituency and the late vice president’s son during the previous Kufuor administration, supported the nomination of Stephen Ntim for party national chairman, John Boadu for general secretary, and Nana B for national organizer in order to help the NPP win the 2024 elections.
Speaking on GH One TV during the NPP’s ongoing National Delegates’ Conference, the legislator said that in order for the party to succeed in its breaking the 8 mantra, delegates must transfer the party’s business to capable executives.
” For breaking the eight to become a reality, we need competent leaders, and I have faith in Stephen Ntim, John Boadu and Nana Boakye, who are contesting various positions. I trust their leadership”
”John Boadu has shown his commitment to the party, Nana B is my classmate and I know what he can do, these are the people who can help the party deliver” Farouk Aliu said.
He claimed that the party would break the eight with the help of an executive made up of both new and experienced members.
47 candidates have been approved and are vying for the party’s various national executive seats.
Out of the seven candidates running for National Chairmanship, pollsters believe Stephen Ntim will prevail.
He claims that Stephen Ayesu Ntim, George Kwabena Abankwah-Yeboah, and Stephen Asamoah Boateng are the three front-runners.
