The last funeral ceremonies for the late John Ndebugre were attended by former president John Dramani Mahama, vice president Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and the president of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
On Friday, May 6, 2022, John Akparibo Ndebugre, a former representative for Zebilla, passed away.
After a brief illness, the former Peoples National Convention (PNC) MP passed away at the age of 72 in Zebilla, in the Upper East Region’s Bawku West District.
He was married, had four kids, and worked as a lawyer.
The late MP’s family attended a state funeral held on the State House’s courtyard in Accra, where the president and other dignitaries joined them to bid him farewell.

John Dramani Mahama signed a book of condolences for the late PNC MP, referring to John Ndebugre as his mentor and older brother.
“So shocked to learn of your sudden passing. You’ve been an elder brother, mentor, and comrade. Your words of advice and good counsel have served me well in my political career. Rest in peace, my big brother,” he wrote.
Also in attendance at the funeral were the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, and the Chief Justice, Kwasi Anin Yeboah.
