Actor John Dumelo has questioned whether religion and development are related.

He observes that although Ghanaians must perform physical labor, the nation places a greater emphasis on praying than on laboring to assure output.

In a tweet that he sent to his followers, John Dumelo made a statement.

The businessman claimed that recently, industries across the nation had been turned into churches where people believed in giving a higher tithe but opposed paying taxes.

John Dumelo believes that as a result, the nation’s progress will continue to be hampered.
