Controversial Shatta Wale, a Ghanaian artiste and dancehall singer, claims to be the sole enforcer of false and doom prophecies in Ghana.

Shatta Wale was arrested by the authorities in October 2021 for fabricating a gunshot event in which he faked his own death, as readers may recall.

According to Wale, his stunt was in response to a doom prophecy by one prophet, Jesus Ahuofe, who predicted that the rapper would be shot to death in the same manner as Lucky Dube, a South African reggae icon.

The police also apprehended Prophet Jesus Ahuofe to aid with the investigation.

In December of that year, shortly after the Shatta Wale-Jesus Ahuofe saga, the Ghana Police Service issued a press statement prohibiting prophets from openly prophesying disaster without evidence.

There have been no clear doom forecasts from any prophet in the country since the Ghana Police Service issued that remark.

In this context, Shatta Wale has claimed credit for the abolition of fraudulent prophecies in Ghana.

Shatta Wale pondered why Ghanaians are always against him during a Facebook live session, despite the fact that he personally put an end to false and doom prophecies in the country.

Shatta Wale also urged music lovers not to compare him to other singers since he is in a league of his own.

“Abeg, don’t compare me to any of those your singers. Go and ask Sarkodie if he is my size. Go and ask Stoneybwoy, is he my size? Go and ask that your boy be Black Sherif, “he bragged.”
