The Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG) has issued a release to all their Regional branches on its intention to go on strike on Thursday, April 21.
They feel the government has failed to pay the neutrality allowance to its members.
In the press statement, CLOSAG disclosed that the neutrality allowance formed part of a Memorandum of Understanding entered into with the government on January 20, 2022.
They added that despite official reminders and follow ups to the Finance Ministry, payment of the allowance has not yet reflected per the agreement they had with the government.
“The National Executive Council (NEC) has finalized that CLOGSAG needsto embark on an industrial strike action.
