Social media in Ghana has been sent into a complete frenzy once again after a shocking video surfaced online showing a tricycle rider brazenly engaging in illegal refuse dumping right in the middle of a major ceremonial road. Netizens have taken to various platforms to express their utter disgust and sheer disbelief at the brazen act.
The Viral Video That Broke Ghana Twitter
In the short clip that has now racked up thousands of views and angry reactions, the rider can be seen casually offloading sacks of garbage onto a clean, paved road meant for high-profile transit. Instead of heading to an approved landfill or waste transfer station, this reckless individual decided to turn a public national asset into his personal dumpsite.
As expected, patriotic citizens and online investigators wasted no time in digging up details, leading to massive trolling and calls for immediate arrest. Many are questioning the audacity and total lack of civic responsibility displayed by the rider.
Calls for Strict Sanitation Enforcement
This latest incident of illegal refuse dumping has reignited fierce national conversations about sanitation management, urban decay, and the enforcement of environmental laws in our cities. Municipal authorities are under intense pressure from the public to track down the culprit and make an example of him to deter others.
Drop your thoughts in the comments! Should the rider face jail time or a heavy fine for desecrating a ceremonial road?
