Introduction to the CAF Strategy Conference
Former Carlos Queiroz is making headlines across African football circles as he prepares to mark his presence at the upcoming Confederation of African Football (CAF) Strategy Conference. This high-profile appearance comes just weeks after his shocking resignation from the Black Stars coaching job, a move that left the Ghana Football Association (GFA) scrambling for a tactical replacement.
The Black Stars Resurgence and Leadership Void
The departure of Carlos Queiroz sent shockwaves through the Ghanaian sporting landscape. Having taken charge with high expectations to revitalize the national team, his sudden exit raised numerous questions regarding administrative stability and long-term planning within the GFA. Despite cutting ties with the senior national team, the veteran tactician’s decision to participate in the continental strategy summit underscores his enduring commitment to the development of African football.

The CAF Strategy Conference brings together elite managers, technical directors, and football administrators from across the continent to discuss structural reforms, youth development pathways, and modern coaching methodologies. Industry insiders note that Carlos Queiroz brings invaluable global experience to the table, making his insights critical for continental stakeholders looking to elevate the standard of the game.
