NBA legend Isaiah Thomas has publicly disclosed that he is battling Bell’s Palsy, a condition he has been dealing with for some time. This revelation came during his appearance on former NBA coach Mark Jackson’s “Come And Talk 2 Me” podcast.
Thomas, known for his illustrious career with the Detroit Pistons where he became one of the all-time greats, shared that the condition affects the muscles on one side of his face, leading to noticeable asymmetries and challenges with speaking. “I haven’t really told anybody, but I’ve got Bell’s Palsy. That’s why you see me like this. I appreciate the prayers and the love. That’s what’s happening with my mouth right now,” Thomas explained on the podcast.
