“It’s Going to Be a Selfish Year” – Medikal Reveals 2025 Plans

Date:

Ghanaian rapper Medikal has announced that 2025 will be a year focused on himself and his music, with no feature collaborations. In a recent interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, the “Ayekoo” hitmaker explained, “Next year I no go do features. Ego be very selfish year for myself because this year I did a lot of features.”

This decision follows a busy 2024 for Medikal, who collaborated with various artists, including Beeztrap KOTM, Kwesi Amewuga, Kofi Mole, Uncle Rich, and dancehall legend Shatta Wale. His active role in the Ghanaian music industry through these collaborations has been significant.

Medikal also mentioned that any anticipated partnerships, such as the one with fellow rapper Eno Barony, need to happen this year, as 2025 is reserved for his solo projects. This announcement is likely to excite fans who have been eagerly awaiting a collaboration between these two leading figures in Ghanaian hip-hop.

Stay tuned for more updates on Medikal’s plans and upcoming releases.
