Nonsense! Prophet Kofi Oduro responds to the discussion over foreign passports and PhDs 2

Alabaster International Ministries’ lead pastor, Prophet Kofi Oduro, has stated that he disagrees with people who mistake a foreign passport for a doctorate in philosophy (PhD).

He contends that while some people are devoting their time to coming up with novel ways to improve the world, it is nonsensical for people to quarrel over the value of earning a PhD and a foreign passport.

Such an argument, according to the pastor, is essentially false because it has no bearing on one’s salvation and has no worth in death.

Speaking to his congregation, Prophet Oduro called the conversation about passports and PhDs on social media “nonsense.”

“Now, does holding a Dutch passport imply that an individual is no longer in need of education? They are devaluing learning. We are here talking rubbish, when there are people researching artificial intelligence and other topics.

What is the meaning of a passport, American or British? It’s just vanity, and I don’t care what you think. Ebony did not carry her passport with her visa when she died. I’ve lived abroad, so I know how things work there. Opportunities exist, but things are not as easy as they look,” he angrily exclaimed.

When University of Ghana Business School instructor Prof. Kobby Mensah stated that a PhD is not the best option for people who are in dire need of work, the conversation became more heated.

“One does not become a PhD hungry. It’s not for starting your own business or finding a job. The professor scribbled on X, “Get that!”

John Dumelo, Sista Afia, Efia Odo, Wayoosi, and Nana Yaa Brefo are among the celebrities who have spoken their thoughts on the controversy.
